The Saughton Skatepark Build   Skatepark Design

12 March 2010 Build Progress Update:
Another dry week means another build update with lots of new stuff to see. The 4ft mini bowl is now completed and looks great. The jumpbox/volcano now has transitions, the monster extension has also been sprayed and there seems to be hips in any direction you look! The 9ft deep bowl has also been dug out fully so you can see the size of it better.
More updates next week...

The Skatepark Layout:

The final layout for the Saughton Park site was developed by the skaters and riders in the ESP group in conjunction with architects Urban Design Futures and Dave Sowerby acting to produce the layout plans. The skatepark layout covers approximately 2100 square meters and features a mix of bowl and street features to cater for all skill levels.
