The Saughton Skatepark Build   Skatepark Design

15 December 2009 Build Progress Update:
We now have curves! That's right, concrete spraying of the transitions in the bowls has started this week and the park is looking great. Also see the block work now in place which starts to give an impression of the over vert corner. That thing is going to be sick. Lets hope the rain and frost stay away so the build can keep moving forward as fast as it has been...

The Skatepark Layout:

The final layout for the Saughton Park site was developed by the skaters and riders in the ESP group in conjunction with architects Urban Design Futures and Dave Sowerby acting to produce the layout plans. The skatepark layout covers approximately 2100 square meters and features a mix of bowl and street features to cater for all skill levels.
